Back in 2003, Gerilyn Gianna opened her first retail floral store in West Palm Beach called Santa Fe Floral which was a full-service retail floral, décor, and outdoor shop. Along with this store, she also started an event planning studio where she would focus on planning and coordinating weddings. With Gerilyn’s background in hospitality management and having worked in events at places like Café Boulud, PGA National and the Muscular Dystrophy Association, this became her entry into the corporate and wedding industry.

In 2008, the company was officially renamed Palm Beach Event and Floral Design. After many years of running a profitable retail storefront, the dream changed from retail to creating chic, sophisticated, modern, and unique floral designs for events. Growing her team, of planning assistants, she combined this with the ability to offer a memorable and stress-free event planning service where she and the team would not only produce the floral design but also provide the event management onsite.

In 2010, after being newly married with a growing family as well as running a thriving floral and event planning business with an amazing staff, Gerilyn decided to scale the business.  The dream changed and once again she renamed the company to Gerilyn Gianna Event and Floral Design because of the growing presence outside of Palm Beach and into the state and national spotlight. The new dream was to provide her floral and event design services exclusively while working closely with other event planners in the industry to manage and oversee the events. Gerilyn found her niche of floral and décor and desires to create individual, unique, and never seen before events. Her floral designs are never twice the same and are modern, clean, and elegant. Gerilyn believes that “Design” is consistently evolving. What she did at the last event, is not what you get on your event, yet no matter what, your event is promised to have timeless décor.

And now, Gerilyn Gianna and her team of professionals have become one of the most sought-after event and wedding design companies in Palm Beach County and the state of Florida. Our goal is simple… Elegance, Perfection, Customized Designs combined with 5-Star service. In addition to her wonderful clients, her goal is help educate and add value to other vendors and colleagues alike, through training and online education. Only time will tell what is in store for the future.

Gerilyn Gianna

President and Lead Designer

Born in the Philippines, raised in Italy, and educated in the United States, Gerilyn Gianna is truly an international and diverse person of influence. Her current love of events and floral design began while she was living in Italy at La Chiesa di San Giorgio (St. George's Church), which was famous for weddings. Every weekend, she would wait outside the church with her friends just to get a glimpse of the beautiful bride and ceremony. This sparked the dream of weddings, design, and love.

While living in the US, Gerilyn completed her studies at Northwood University, earning a degree in Hospitality Management. From there, she worked with the world-famous Chef Daniel Boulud as an event planner as well as the prestigious Governors Club, both in Palm Beach, Florida. Her real-life experience, combined with education and professional experience, has set her apart by the service and value she adds to her clients.

Her desire is to give the best service by putting her client’s wants and needs above herself. Gerilyn has never followed trends; she strives to set them with her specialized designs and 5-Star service. Furthermore, she credits her success, gifts, and talents to her faith and service, and is very involved in nonprofits, mentors couples for marriage, and teaches classes with her husband at Christ Fellowship Church in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. What was once a one-woman show has now become a family business as Gerilyn is surrounded by an incredible team, family, and child who frequently shows up to work as well!

David Kosberg

Director of Business and Events

David grew up in a family of business professionals focusing on real estate and the private money sector. He learned from a young age what it takes to start a business, motivate and train staff, and propel businesses to new heights. David was educated at California State University in Los Angeles, focusing on business administration, and moved on to the California School of Culinary Arts, where he prepared to be a world-class chef, manager, and restaurateur. From there, he went to work for many hotels and restaurants coast to coast and ended at the Ritz Carlton in Palm Beach.

In 2005, David took on a new business challenge, leaving the hospitality industry to start his own real estate investment and lending business as a licensed real estate and mortgage professional. While continuing this, the pull toward hospitality and events remained strong, and in 2009, David joined the team at Gerilyn Gianna Design, helping manage the business and expand the company for Gerilyn. This allowed her to place her focus directly on her clients and floral designs.

David is 5-Star service-oriented and believes that delivering the best service in the industry today sets us apart. Not only do our clients give our team rave reviews, but the vendors that work with us do so as well. His belief and ultimate goal are to value people and to add value to others through training, education, and personal service.
